Read The First_Day Review Of The New Venture From The Geetha Arts 'MagaDheera'...A new Grandeur From Rajamouli And Charan....

The time has come for all those who were waiting to see the magnum opus. The film ‘Magadheera’ with Ramcharan Teja and Kajal Agarwal finally hit the screens and this is deemed as the most promising blockbuster beating the likes of ‘Pokiri’. How good was it, let us see.

Story::

In the 16th century, Kalabhairava (charan) is a warrior general and Mitra (Kajal) is his queen. However, she is in love with him and he loves her too but never expresses it. Mitra is lusted by her relative Randev (devgill) and he is the commander in chief of the kingdom of Udaygarh. He manages to separate Bhairava and Mitra but not before he dies. The story comes to the present times when Harsha (charan), an avid biker has his life going smoothly. This takes a turn when his hand brushes with that of Indu (kajal) on a rainy day and before he sees her, he knows that there is something between them. Finally he manages to see her and love happens. But not before, Randev is born again as Indu’s relative and history repeats. Does Indu know her past? Is Harsha successful in his love? Go to the theatres and watch it.

Performances::

Charan::

Charan has come up with a mature performance and he has carried the film very well. Both his characters were done good justice and he reminded of his father at many places.Some of the steps That are done by him are Extraordinary in songs like 'Bangaru Kodipetta' And 'Panchadara Komma'.

Others::

Kajal looked bubbly, seductive and royal and she was the best choice. Devgill was a letdown as he could not emote that well, his act could have been tuned. Srihari was effective, Sunil was neat, Brahmi was regular, Sarath Babu was graceful, the others did their bit as per the standard.

Technical aspects::

The main life and soul of the movie is the graphics and the visual effects department. They were well supported by a masterly cinematography. The script was without any loose ends, the screenplay was neat and the background score was alright. Editing was crisp, two songs were worth humming, the picturization of the songs was good. Art department and costumes get full marks in this.

Director’s portrayal::

The director has been careful not to divert anywhere and he has shown his gift of narrative during the second half. Though the content was not much, he has been able to use his experience and kept the audience engaged. The storyline of the film finds traces of Hollywood flicks but then he has converted them enough to suit the Telugu audience.

Highlights::

The film should be watched for undergoing an unspeakable experience with the following::

The bike adventure in first half
The Set of Udayagadh replicating the 16th century empire city
Background sound that brings Goosebumps
Wonderful canning of songs viz., Cheppinde Cheppake.., BangaruKodi petta and Dheera Dheera
Battle at Bhaiaravakona between Kalabhairava and Sher Khan’s soldiers

Rating :: 7.75/10 A Visual Grandeur For Telugu Audience And A Block Buster After A Long-Time For Film Industry...

Read First Day Review Of The Grand Thursday Release ,Latest From Harry-Potter Series 'Harry-Potter:The Half-blood Prince'....

Story:

Nine long years since the first Harry Potter movie hit the screens across the world but the enthusiasm refuses to die down. This time around Harry Potter has kept his fans waiting for almost two years the longest break fans have had to endure for a new movie adventure about the teen wizard. Director David Yates has made sure that the wait for the fans has been worthwhile. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint who have lived these roles almost half their lives do not disappoint this summer.
In Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) are best pals. Harry's biggest challenge in the school is a secret assignment by Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon). Harry suspects that new dangers may lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle with Lord Voldemort (who surprisingly doesn't appear in the entire movie). Dumbledore needs Harry to help him uncover a vital key to unlocking Voldemort's defences critical information known only to Hogwarts' former Potions Professor, Horace Slughorn (Jim Broadbent).

Review:

The movie acts as a great platform for the Radcliffe, Watson and Grint to display their maturing acting skills and they do not disappoint the audience. Whether their acting careers flourish after "Harry Potter" or not, they will leave behind one of the most successful series of films man has ever seen. Michael Gambon Jim Broadben and Bonnie wright  play their roles well in the movie. The movie drags a bit toward the end but screenwriter Steve Kloves generally keeps the plot rolling. He also adds a new scenes such as the opening attack on London's Millennium Bridge. At 153 minutes the movie seems a shade longer perhaps a 10 minute editing would have made it look better. Harry Potter has always set high standards when it has come visual-effects and Half Blood Price in no exception in this regard.

David Yates who took over the job of helming with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix directs Half Blood Prince in his deepening confidence and comfort. He has lived up to the high standards set by Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuaron and Mike Newell in the first four movies. Yates remarkable controls the action sequences well and gives his stars much needed breathing space between the action sequences. In Half-Blood Prince Yates stays true to the JK Rowling's although he infuses a certain amount of freshness and energy that makes it seem like a new stuff rather than the screen adoption of a Novel . Yates will also helm the the two-part adaptation of the seventh and final book Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows but with Half Blood Prince he has set a grand finale. It is a must watch for all the Harry Potter fans and even for those who have missed the previous five editions.

Rating : 7.5/10 A Real Noveltic Approach With A High-Ended Emotion Reaches It Up 2 Mark..A Good Feast 4 Harry-Potter Fans...

In no time, Sandhya begins to develop feelings for Uday and finally falls in love with him. However, fate strikes a cruel blow and things take a different turn for both. What is that turn and how does it take their lives forward forms the rest of the story.

Review:

The film takes off on a very good note and it looks quite promising but then it fizzles out all the excitement during the second half. The idea was to project romance but then it missed the mark as some key points went off track. If the makers had focused on the key point and developed the romance a little more, it would have struck the chord with the audience. The technical aspects of the film have been quite good and Siddarth has also come up with a neat performance. Perhaps a little flavor would have done the required magic but that didn’t happen.
Siddarth has come up with a matured performance and he has shown his mettle once again. Shamili has not been upto the mark, either in her looks or in her acting. She has to focus on her body language and her size which will give her a good shape and make her more presentable. Sunil was hilarious and his sequences with his colleague gave many moments of laughter. Tanikella was standard, Napoleon looked graceful and he could have been used more, Krishnudu was cute and his presence was good enough. Surekha Vani was seductive and stylish. The others did their bit as required.But Some Scenes Of Ali,And Master Bharat Has Been Deleted Because Of Excess Runtime On Second Day.So Forgot Them.....

Rating : 6/10 A Pleasent Musical Entertainer...But Not Meant 4 All...If U Accept Some Sad Love Stuff Den Njoy It..

Soon, the truth comes out and Madhu breaks her relation with Venkat. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Review

The film will fail to engage the audience throughout. The wafer thin plot and the poor comedy tracks are responsible for that. Also, there are a few episodes that end without proper landing so this causes a bit of confusion. The main drawback has been the below average comedy that takes place in the entire first half. Also, not many romantic scenes are present to actually induce that feeling of love in the air. Technically, the film has been above standards and the performance from the lead pair has been good. This will appeal to the family audience a bit but the mass category doesn’t have much to carry home.

Rating: 5.5/10...Reachable 2 Youth if Having A good Appeal in Maintaining Diff Threads..

Review Of Susath And Sneha Ullal's June 20 Release 'Current' By k4karoo.co.cc......

Story:

Sushanth (sushanth) and Sneha (sneha) are like two poles apart. While Sushanth is more the happy go luck guy who believes in living for the moment and does not believe in thinking about the future, Sneha is the opposite. However, their paths cross each other and Sushanth falls in love with her at the very first sight. Though Sneha turns him down initially, in no time she also starts developing feelings for him. Soon, they fall in love and the time comes for Sushanth to meet Sneha’s father (Charanraj). He arrives late as usual and also talks very casually without any seriousness to him. Sneha’s father does not approve of this but leaves decision to her. Even she tries to convince Sushanth but then he is adamant on living like that. Then Sneha asks Sushanth that he should take away those feelings of love from her heart since he was the one who started it all. Sushanth gets pricked and from then on starts his attempts to kill those feelings for Sneha. Is he successful or not forms the rest of the story.

Review:

Sushanth looked trim and energetic during the dance sequences which was a good thing but then his expressions are restricted to just two or three and not more. Sneha Ullal was regular and did her glamorous part, she looked good. Geetha was also looking pretty and she has shown potential. Vennela Kishore did a neat job, Tanikella was effective, Charanraj was okay, Brahmanandam was not used to the fullest, Raghu Babu was hilarious, Shafi was good.

The film has been made with decent technical values but then the content part should have been more streamlined. While the first half of the film goes with the regular elements of comedy and songs, it is just before the second half that the plot actually gets into shape and though the second half has also got some intense moments, the climax could have been more polished and could have caused some anxiety for the audience. The lack of consistent comedy is another factor that needed to be worked. Overall, the film would generate interest at few parts and keeps fluctuating on highs and lows.It appeals for youth audiences especially with second half for the emotional depth in it.

Review Of Sivaji's Diary From The Makers Of 2007 Thrilling Hit Mantra......

Story

Vamsi (sivaji) is the spoilt brat of a rich man but then he is bold and fearless. After getting involved in a issue, he goes to Vizag and decides to buy a property. He takes the help of K K (siva Prasad) and buys a home just on the outskirts of the city. He decides to spend the night at the place and due to a small scuffle, he meets Maya (shraddha), the local dancer. The story takes a turn when Maya has no choice but to spend the night at Vamsi’s place and there he comes across a diary. Written in a very interesting manner, the story is about Albert (Sridhar) and his wife Mona (sajitha) and the diary also talks about how Mona gets murdered and has become a ghost. Meanwhile, Vamsi starts experiencing some unusual things and even his strong willed nature turns a bit shaky. What is the mystery behind the diary? This forms the essence of the story.

Review

The dialogues were written without much confusion and the even the script was penned smoothly, the screenplay was okay. Background score and the songs scored well and though there were just two songs, they were hummable. Full marks to the cinematography department and that brought a lot of mileage to the film. Editing could have been better, costumes were alright and art department did an impressive job.The film could have been an interesting thriller if only the pace of the film and few crucial moments were handled well. Frankly, the entire first half just goes about in a dull manner and though there was a good chance of creating more twists and some scary moments, the makers were not able to do it. Given the hype that this is from the ‘Manthra’ team, the film had good expectations but then it must be said that due to the lack of energy in the film and a poor handling of the content part, the film fizzles out in no time.

Review of Sumanth N Ramana Gogula's Boni.....By k4karoo.co.cc......

Story

With the sole objective of starting a ‘Pulihora’ centre in their lives, two orphans DD (sumanth) and Chinna (trinetrudu) grow up together and they join the gang of Giri (tanikella) as recovery guys. Fights, street brawls and other rugged things become their agenda and soon DD wants to take a higher step so he decides to join the more ruthless Das (jayaprakash). On the other hand, there is Pragathi (krithi), daughter of minister (ahuti prasad) who promises help to farmers but her father fails to keep it up. She decides to get herself kidnapped so that money can be taken from him and she can help the farmers. Incidentally, Das is given a similar assignment by someone and DD, Chinna do the job. Pragathi mistakes this to be her staged drama and from then on things change, to add to it, DD falls in love with Pragathi and his thoughts get complicated. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Review

The film has been high on the technical aspects and given the mixture of romance and action elements, it could have been churned out well. However, it fell on the pace and even the energy in the comedy sequences was missing. Few scenes were presented very well but then the thumb rule is a strong script is needed for any movie to get successful. While the first half goes about in an average manner it is not until the second half that some speed comes in and there are twists in the story. Sumanth is a rather self contained actor so he should work on breaking the shell and give a high adrenaline act which did not happen in this venture. Given the debut of so many individuals in this project, the attempt can be appreciated.
